Joint Resolution
New Year, New You. Eat less. Exercise more. Work less. Read more. Buy less. Declutter more. Less, more, less, more. January 1 always feels like a fresh start, or at least a reboot. We typically think of new year’s resolutions as personal. I, too, have my business and personal goals as I enter 2016, including reading all of the books on my Kindle. No doubt you have your own goals, too. Go for it; I am, after all, in the business of helping people move forward, reach their goals, and fulfill their potential.
I am also in the business of helping people who use their energy to improve our world. Therefore, I propose we each make additional resolutions to restore our planet and help those with whom we share it. Imagine if each one of us committed to taking action to save our environment, bring justice, equality and opportunity to other humans, and to end the needless suffering of billions of animals worldwide. No one of us can do it all, but together we can feed, clothe, shelter, rescue, educate, liberate, correct, legislate, advocate, and preserve. Wowza!
So let’s make 2016 the year of progress for ourselves and for each other. The voiceless and the powerless need us. Mother Earth needs us. Heck, we need each other.
Here’s to a year of love, compassion and empathy. Cheers!
