What is an Empowered Woman?

Before you read on, ask yourself your definition of empowered.

Is it being a leader?

Is it being an executive?

Is it running a household?

Is it being financially sound?

Is it being a business owner?

Is it being a social justice activist?

Is it being active in your community?

Yes to all the above, sort of. These are all aspects of empowerment IF that’s what YOU want.

An empowered woman is one who is in control of her life, whether she’s a CEO of a corporation or CEO of a houseful of kids.

Empowerment is a feeling. It’s knowing in your gut “I got this.”

It’s not asking for permission or apologizing for who you are.

An empowered woman decides who she is, what she wants to do, defines her goals and pursues them with passion.

Does this describe you?

If so, high five!

If not, what would it take for you to feel more empowered?
